Silly Season is the time when driver market is heated up, juicy contracts dealing around and hips are getting ready for brand new seat making times.
Silly Season has never been something that we wait for. It's called 'silly', you do the math. It can be also called 'Gossip Girl' days of F1. Driver rumours are everywhere but not all are reliable. One release something about they've heard or guessed and news started to rolling around. It might be the most annoying days of F1.
This season everything got out of control even sillier. Red Bull's seat related to almost half of the grid. Raikkonen got a seat nearly in every team. He is the superstar of Silly Seasons. He got this role even at then times when he was competing in WRC. Beyond his amazing talent and impact that he would do to team as a driver and a sponsorship casonova, he is very good material for press with his 'I was having a sh*t' attitutes.
Contracts can't even stop all these 'Gossip Girl' days anymore. Contracts can be break even many bags of money needs to pay. We've seen this in 2009 with Raikkonen and Ferrari duo.
This season is a thing to keep agenda heated but with the domination of Vettel in last years, Formula 1 maybe needed this season more desperately to keep the news coming.
We are in a days that Vettel's dyed or sun brighten up new blonde hair is more important than summer break is over and it's Belgium GP time. So it's no surprise that Silly Season got it's worst version.
'Wait and See' is a better way to deal with all these craziness. In the end teams will have to announce their driver line up till that time put your Raikkonen face on and say 'I will let all you know when i made up mind and have a contract.
Xoxo not Gossip Girl But Silly Season !
