Helmets are everywhere

 Hey hey everybody it may be the time we are all waiting for , It's Monaco GP. It's the race even the non-f1 fanatics know.The crowing jewel of the calendar as we all know or with the comments of drivers riding bike in your home. So why would helmets be the same ?
 Some of the drivers brought amazing brand-new designs for Monaco race weekend. Helmets in basic of course for to cover head and neck. But nowadays it's more like a design show. Most of the people think helmet is the mirror of personallity of driver , or we may say 'bussiness card'. As a Vettel supporter helmets are in my special interest. So let's start with the man of many helmets ,

Sebastian Vettel ; as we all know Vettel does not have particular helmet design. He almost brings a new helmet to everyrace. Sometimes even two designs in just one week. Some says it makes hard to define him with his helmet or color or design. I admire the brain behind all that different designs. His design are not like changing color as red, blue , orange. Almost everytime he broughts creative glitters on circuit. Again this weekend he and his helmet artist Jens Munser managed to bring another level to helmet design. While all helmets started to reveal , we thought it was nice combination of Monaco elements about his helmet.

Color, elements were good but as we learn later there was more of it. The 60's pin up girl at back is girl who does not like hot weather so much and when it happens she prefers to take off her clothes. This changing color helmet has seen before but termal painting in just particular area is a brand new thing. In my opinion as an innovative side of helmets this is his best after that lighting Singaporean helmet. Will be looking forward for his new designs.

and a few world from to man himself about helmets : ''It’s funny, but I’m very traditional when it comes to designs. Obviously I change mine, which suggests I’m not that traditional, but that’s because I enjoy the design process rather than the change. Jens Munser, the guy who designs my helmets, does most of the work. I just choose elements I like. I like designs that are unique and very simple. David (Coulthard)’s for example, with the white cross, the Scottish flag was very good. Damon Hill’s, which was his father’s design too. (Ayrton) Senna’s helmet was unique, just yellow with the two stripes. It was him, totally recognisable. Those kind of designs appeal to me.''

Fernando Alonso : Spaniard normally uses a helmet resembles his born place Oviedo's and Spain's colors (Blue, Yellow, Red ). These colors only changed in Mclaren days. He barely changes his designs but Monaco is a special place for him too, mainly he brings a new design to Monaco. This year he prefer a design which a puzzle pieces design. Each piece has the name of his wins in F1. Also 2 poker cards at back represents his 2 WDC, but this is not new as he always carry those on his helmet. Card tricks is in interest of Alonso so that's no surprise. Gold color is really nice to show all that glamour of Monaco. He uses this color on his previous Monaco helmet designs. But still writing all wins design helmet is more likly for GP like '200th GP' or '350th GP' kind a event.Arai helmet is the company of Alonso helmets.

Sergio Perez  : Mclaren's Checo is the one Monte Carlo swag on his helmet too. Helmet includes poker, casino and girls drawings. Also Mexica effects on helmet too.Design of course have the effects of classic 'Mclaren' style. But Johhny Walker does fit the casino theme perfectly. I like the colors and design of the helmet but of course it's so mainstream to put casino elements on helmet at Monte Carlo. Plus still Vettel's pin up girl is the most beautiful girl on helmets. Perez is using Bell Helmets.

Lewis Hamilton : Lewis Hamilton is brought his personal life and lifestyle to his helmet like he does on social media. Lewis is also ones from the stick one helmet design. His helmet is yellow like his idol Senna. This color has been prefered when he was little karting driver for his father to notice him quicker.There is almost no one who haven't heard singer Nicole Scherzinger is his girlfriend , and his dog Roscoe. Roscoe even has a paddock pass and he is maybe the first dog ever been in F1 car. Hamilton put his 2 specials on his helmet with a nice drawing style around the Monaco harbour. Let's wait see what Scherzinger will say about this kind and romantic helmet. I don't know anyother driver who put his girlfriend on helmet, do you? Hamilton again like this show his different style.

Kimi Raikkonen : The Iceman again this year brought James Hunt leggacy on circuit. Raikkonen generally answers questions like 'Who is your idol' as 'i dont have any idol' but with these Hunt designs, he shows his admiration to Paddock rebel champion Hunt. No doubt Raikkonen would be like him in those days and also he would prefer to be in those days. Last year's black, Hunt similar helmet was better actually. I don't like this year's colors and it's more like a remebering a legend helmet. Last year ones more like a seeing a legends. Raikkonen changes his helmet designs time to time.Not in season like Vettel but still we've seen different colors on his helmet. But he has got particular elements on his helmet designs every year. Raikkonen was also working with Munser for helmets but i'm not sure if he is still. Ecclestone thinks Raikkonen's helmet can be advertising for 'Rush' movie so he may be ask for to ban it for the weekend but let's see if it's going to be down there. Too much effort for 'something just to protect head'.Raikkonen's helmet company Bell Helmets.

Romain Grosjean : Lotus's other driver also made a new design for Monaco. Actually i didn't see something so special about his helmet. More plain design compared to others. He can work little bit more for next year maybe ha ? Again Bell Helmets.

Jean-Eric Vergne : Toro Rosso driver keep tributing French drivers at Monaco. It's also different idea to make a Monaco Helmet. Last year he had Jean Alesi on his helmet and now this year Francois Cevert tribute for Vergne. Vernge is using Bell Helmets too.

Daniel Ricciardo : Ricciardo's design is one of my favorite of the weekend. Helmet has to Monte Carlo view on it. Printing a picture is also a new idea. It looks better than i thought and much more orginal than putting casino elements on it. Ricciardo also using Bell Helmets.


Paul di Resta : di Resta's normal design helmet is very classic design but you can point him with his helmet easily. He also used card theme on his Monaco helmet. But he done this without putting cards or casino wheels on helmet. I like the bright , shinny red color of it. It's not so creative one but still i think whatever you make shinny, glitter i love it. So i think this helmet also pass the exam.
