End of an Era

Luca Cordero Di Montezemolo stepped down from his duties as Ferrari's chairman after 23 years.  67 years old was born in Italy, home of prancing horse, surely he made his mark to the history of the Ferrari.
He studied Law in Italy and continued his education in commercial law at New York.
Montezemolo started his Ferrari journey in Fiat later on he began to work in Ferrari as Enzo Ferrari's assistant in 1974. He has seen 14 Constructors  Champions and and 9 Drivers Champions in his time at Scuderia Ferrari. FOTA has found by him and ruled by him between 2008-2010. He became the one of the most familiar faces of Formula One.
Unfortunately  after the Schumacher's glamorous years of Ferrari, team have started go down to hill. Drivers changed, team members fired, new faces came to team. Lastly Stefano Domenicali has been replaced by Marco Mattiacci as Team Principal. Lots of names took the responsibility of the unsuccessful years. But still the most successful team of the Formula 1 in terms of numbers can't bring back the car to number one position.
Italian GP, all the press waited the Italian came out and announce his stepping down as chairman but he talked about his 'commitment' to the team.
The waiting news came down on Wednesday from Marenello. Montezemolo was stepping down and  Sergio Marchionne , Fiat's chairman, is going to be the new chief of the Italian team. Montezemolo talked about that emotional day as his 'Last day of school'.

Montezemolo: "This is the end of an era and so I have decided to leave my position as chairman after almost 23 marvellous and unforgettable years in addition to those spent at Enzo Ferrari's side in the 1970s."

He thanked specialy to team members and very few special words for Todt and Schumacher.
Ferrari's older chairman had been great impact in the sport and one of the greatest names of it's history. Ferrari faced really bad years in terms of Formula 1 success in recent years.  This departure will bring a great change in the team. I believe that this change will bring Ferrari a new boost on the track.
Formula 1 has changed a lot and this change is still going on. F1 grid saw the maximum F1 champions on the track. Team ruled by engineer won the championship, a 'energy drink' sponsored team dominated. Silver arrows back in the game now.
Ferrari undermined these changes but that did not bring them to success they asked.
This huge role change in the team should come with different state of mind and hopefully wake the Ferrari up so they can fit to this new world of Formula 1.

Who wants to be F1 Champion?

F1 drivers are ambitious and driven by their instincts. They can do any crazy move to earn a one more point for championship. They are nuts enough to  race in around 220mph with other 21 drivers.
Everyone of them believes that they are the best of the sport. Only they've needed a chance, a complete car or a great team to prove this and when they have this chance they can be brutal.
When Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton teamed up for Mercedes team in 2013, it was felt all safe and sound. They were friends since go-karting days. So they must be get on well. Lewis Hamilton is a one time champion, trust his fearless moves on circuit so he was so sure that he will be the man of the team. Nico Rosberg is in the team for a while so he knew the team well and driving enough years to match champion driver at next door even without a crown for himself yet.
Things were going well as it thought, duo were attending events together, racing well together. But those were the days where Vettel and his Red Bull dominant enough to beat them all.
A championship crown is a game  changer and the game is changed. This season Mercedes pair has a car that can bring one of them a championship.
All has started well in the beginning. Both were happy to have competitive car, Vettel wasn't around or any driver there to push Mercedes couple beside each other. It was Mercedes's game then.
Team management decided and mentioned that they will not interrupt the fight between their drivers for the sake of justice and joy of racing as long as they don't crush. Front driver in the race gets the pit first, Both pits open with their time sheets so each driver can work where they are behind in terms of timing.
It was great and a hell of a show for audience. Lewis Hamilton was putting a great performance with a great car. It was all good for even the retirement in the first race. He fixed it  with 4 wins in a row. Only problem was Rosberg's breath was just right behind him. But Hamilton knew that it won't be a problem as long as he keeps winning, he was sure about his talents, he was better than Rosberg.
Rosberg won the first race and shed the first blood but later on he was in a supporting character. He was fighting and working hard still Hamilton won the all.
Then Monaco happened. Rosberg made controversial move in the qualifying but faced with no penalty. It's all down to you to say Rosberg made that move in purpose or just an accident. As in result he didn't lost anything that weekend, maybe some respect from particular fans. He won his 'Almost Home Race' with very important 25 points. Lewis could kept his mouth shut and kept working and be mature about all this. But no way, he cracked that weekend, talking about how he grew in worst ways and he is more eager about championship compare to Monaco style living, luxury Rosberg.
Things were changed between those after Monaco, even though both said Lewis's worlds were understood in different content.
Hamilton's retirement in Canada may have the worst timing for him as mental while Rosberg on podium. Ricciardo also had his very first win that weekend and Red Bull's car was in the game again like all those problems between duo was not enough.
Next 5 races Rosberg has got 2 wins and one retirement, Hamilton has got 1 win and a forced retirement. Red Bull's new shiny, young talent also has got 2 wins.
Then Belgium happened. Hamilton was leading, Rosberg push to hard to overtake Lewis in the second lap of the race and there came to touching between them, the only thing Mercedes does ask for their drivers 'not the crash', but there it was. Rosberg could race well but Hamilton with a damage, he forced to go back the pits at last sting of the race and ended a race that he did not enjoy very well.
Pit wall went crazy, Hamilton must have gone mad, and Rosberg must have thought he was just fighting for position, for the championship.
Rosberg may have the fault on this he could be more smart in his move, but was it true for Hamilton directly go to media and talk about stuff that talked behind close doors?
Hamilton is intimate and open wordy person but isn't a time for him to be more mature and keep some stuff to himself so we could see he grow up a little since his open-fight with Alonso in 2007 ?
Rosberg's made controversial moves but only thing he didn't do is talking. He is in Formula 1 since 2002, he is preparing himself for to be champion with under the pressure of his lastname but only get the chance of being a champion this year. I wouldn't blame Prost for fighting againts Senna, i wouldn't blame Rosberg also for putting all his cards on table.
Hamilton should keep in silence, fight with his all on the circuit as a champion already, a person who knows how to be champion. He shouldn't go to media everytime some thing happen on the circuit and apologize, explain on his Twitter account later on.
Especially when there is a guy behind both of them with a great smile and nothing to lose. Mercedes duo and the team should know their priorities while there 7 races to catch up and last one with double points.
It looks like the one with working in silent, racing on circuit will get this championship in a very exciting way.
